Minister Bishop Williams

Bishop Williams was born in May 1998; his parents are Stacy and Scott Williams. His siblings are Angela, Kiana, and Quentin. His father is the Assistant Pastor of Friendship Ministries. Bishop has been apart of Friendship Ministries all his life. Even at a young age, Bishop found a love for God and that has never changed.  Bishop knows that God has called him to do His work. In August of 2006, Bishop did his first sermon at Friendship Ministries. From there he felt God speak through his life even more.  The scripture that really gives Bishop confirmation that he was called to do the work of the Lord comes from Jeremiah 1: 4- 10 that says:
4 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” 6 Then said I “Ah, Lord GOD!  Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” 7 But the LORD said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ for you shall go to all to whom I send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. 8 Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you,” says the LORD. 9 Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. 10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.”

The scripture spoke to Bishop because his middle name is Jeremiah. Just by the prophesy that was giving to Jeremiah, to Bishop it was just like the prophesy that was giving to him. Bishop had already been proclaiming the good news and teaching but in September 2006, Bishop joined the Ministerial Staff as a minister in training. From there he has grown in God, he has preached a few more times, and he has encouraged a few people in his school.

Bishop has been apart of the forensics team, the basketball team, the drama club, and their music program, all at his school. Bishop loves music, he plays the drums, the piano, and he sings. He has also been apart of NJPAC’s Jazz team.

In everything that Bishop does, he acknowledges God; he is reminded of the scripture:

“In all your ways acknowledge Him; And He shall direct your paths.”
Proverbs 3:6 (NKJV)

Bishop’s ultimate goal is tat when its all said and done God is pleased with his service.
